So I went to M Cafe last Saturday with the TMB people and some guys from my other blogging project, Comicgasm, because Globe invited us to check out their latest product. Well. Before I get to tell you what happened during the event, let me induldge you with the events that conspired on the way to Makati.
First off, I got there horrifically late because Makati traffic is, well, horrible. Even on a freaking Saturday. Now when I finally got to Greenbelt, I got lost and… well, it took me around 30 minutes to find my way around. I finally found M Cafe when a paraplegic caucasian pointed out the way. It’s like having the paraplegic help me cross the street.
Anyway, as I scratched my head as I got to M Cafe, I realized that the place was empty. Where the heck is everyone? And why am I wearing these snazzy douchebag shirt when there’s nobody to impress?
As I threw a tantrum outside M Cafe while everyone avoided me like the plague, the security guard helpfully pointed out the van that was waiting for us bloggers.
We were brought to Handle Bar, where we got treated to awesome music by Up Dharma Down and Sleepwalk Circus. Then Globe introduced us to their new product, the Globe Tattoo Sim.
As you can see, the ImmortalTXT thing really sold it for me. Come on, you pay Php10 for 50 free texts to Globe/TM subscribers and 10 free texts toother networks? And get this: there is no expiry date! Just text IMMORTAL10 to 8888. And you don’t even have to be a Tattoo Sim owner to use the service! Sweet!
Another new product I’m interested in would be Surf All Day, where P20 can get me unlimited access to Friendster, Facebook, Wikipedia and Plurk. Furthermore, each Surf All Day subscription comes with FREE unlimited access to Ping.fm.
And I am understandably excited about Unlichat+, seeing that I have a girlfriend overseas.
Anyway, I got a free Tattoo sim, which I have to yet use because the features are already available in my current sim.
I am so freaking excited to use these features. Really.
